The Food & Beverage Manager at The Reserve Club at Woodside plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the club's food and beverage operations. This is a leadership position that requires a hands-on approach in managing restaurant, bar, banquet, and event services to ensure a superior dining experience for members and guests. The Manager is responsible for managing budgets, controlling costs, developing staff, and upholding the club’s standards of excellence. As a key member of the management team, the Food & Beverage Manager leads and motivates a diverse team of department managers, supervisors, and hourly staff to deliver exceptional hospitality. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience required
  • Private club or country club experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, banquet service, and beverage management
  • Proven experience managing budgets, labor, and inventory controls
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all food and beverage operations including dining outlets, lounges, banquet events, beverage programs, and special club functions
  • Ensure exceptional member and guest service standards are consistently maintained
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and service standards for all food and beverage areas
  • Lead, coach, and develop department managers, supervisors, and hourly team members
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with Club leadership to enhance the overall member experience
