The Food and Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role within Pacific Hospitality Group by overseeing all food and beverage operations across diverse outlets such as restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, and banquet/catering services. This leadership role demands a balanced focus on operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, team member engagement, and adherence to brand and company standards. By managing day-to-day operations, the manager ensures efficient service delivery and maintains high standards in guest service, product quality, and facility cleanliness.

Beyond operational duties, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for mentoring and developing the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. They collaborate closely with culinary, banquet, sales, and operations departments to guarantee seamless event execution and outlet functionality. Financial stewardship is a critical component of this role, involving labor scheduling optimization, expense control, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to meet and exceed profitability goals.

Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations is strictly enforced by this position, which also supervises inventory management and purchasing to control costs. The Food and Beverage Manager contributes to menu innovation, promotional initiatives, and revenue-enhancing programs, conducting regular facility inspections to uphold quality standards. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, labor management, and financial controls
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and alcohol service regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operation of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • Maintain high standards of guest service, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop food and beverage team members to promote a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with culinary, banquet, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and outlet operations
  • Manage labor scheduling and staffing levels to maximize productivity while controlling labor costs
  • Monitor and control food, beverage, and operating expenses to achieve budgeted financial goals
  • Analyze revenue, labor, and cost reports to identify opportunities for improvement and increased profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing practices, and cost-control procedures
  • Support menu development, promotional programs, and revenue-generating initiatives
  • Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage facilities to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the department
