The Woodlands Country Club offers an excellent opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager to join their team. This role reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director and plays a vital part in directing and coordinating all activities within the food and beverage departments. As a member of this non-exempt position, the Food and Beverage Manager is tasked with maintaining the highest operational standards while ensuring that financial goals are met and profits maximized. The manager is also instrumental in sustaining outstanding guest service standards through effective staff leadership and communication.

The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee compliance with national Arcis Golf programs such as the Core Beverage Program, Menu Program, Approved Product List, and Beverage Cartender program. They will be responsible for selecting, developing, leading, and retaining a talented food and beverage staff dedicated to excellence. This leadership position requires constant interdepartmental communication and collaboration to ensure that all team members are informed about special programs and events, enhancing the overall member and guest experiences.

In addition, the Food and Beverage Manager will conduct financial reviews, oversee accounting procedures including checkbook management, and actively monitor financial targets to maintain profitable operations. A key element of this role involves reviewing guest and member surveys and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans to address concerns. The ideal candidate will embody strong leadership qualities, excellent customer service skills, and a keen attention to detail in planning and organization.

Working conditions for this role include mandatory availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic and service-oriented nature of the position. The job demands physical activities such as standing, walking, speaking, and listening, alongside cognitive tasks including budget analysis, inventory management, and extensive problem-solving. The Food and Beverage Manager must effectively motivate and train subordinates while employing strong reasoning and communication skills. Mathematical proficiency in profit and loss concepts, percentages, and variances is essential for success.
