We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. This pivotal leadership role oversees one or more restaurant and bar venues within the hotel, aiming to ensure exceptional operational execution, uphold high service standards, and deliver outstanding guest satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with property leadership to maintain smooth coordination of banquet and event functions, plan strategically for business growth, and maintain financial performance targets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong guest-focused mindset, financial acumen, and a passion for cultivating motivated teams. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, mentoring staff members, driving profitability through budgeting and cost control measures, and continuously innovating to keep the venue competitive in a rapidly evolving hospitality landscape.
The Food & Beverage Manager will have a key role in setting and maintaining presentation, service, and operational standards that align with The Joseph's high expectations. The position demands excellent communication skills to lead team meetings, unify team efforts, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Banquet teams to anticipate and meet business needs effectively. Furthermore, the role entails ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, which is critical to maintaining the venue's esteemed reputation. This position requires flexibility with work hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the dynamic hospitality schedule.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in coffee shop, cafe, or food and beverage management
- Strong working knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso equipment, and cafe operations
- Proven experience leading, training, and developing teams
- Financial acumen with experience managing labor, inventory, and cost controls
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

- Establish and uphold service, appearance, and operational standards
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage team members and leaders as needed
- Lead regular meetings to ensure consistent and transparent communication
- Assist with budgeting, inventory management, payroll, and cost control
- Develop strategies to improve profitability and explore new revenue opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Banquet teams to anticipate business needs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Monitor industry trends to keep concepts competitive and relevant
- Collaborate closely with property leadership teams
