Job Description
Ithaka Hospitality Partners is an innovative and purpose-driven hospitality company dedicated to creating unique and memorable guest experiences. Situated in Montgomery, Alabama, Ithaka Hospitality Partners operates Elevation Convening Center & Hotel, a sophisticated destination known for its stunning views of downtown Montgomery and its commitment to excellence in hospitality. Elevation Convening Center & Hotel offers a refined atmosphere where guests can enjoy high-quality service across various dining and meeting spaces, making it a premier location for business gatherings, social events, and fine dining.
The Food & Beverage Manager position at Ithaka Hospitality Partners offers an exciting opportunity to be a key leader in a thriving hospitality environment. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of AYA Soulful Dining and Elevation Café, two vibrant food and beverage outlets within the Elevation Convening Center & Hotel. The individual in this role will lead front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences that align with the company’s high service standards. As a manager, this person will be instrumental in training and developing team members, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining quality control to meet and exceed guest expectations.
Candidates for this role should be passionate about food and beverage services, skilled in team leadership, and experienced in managing fast-paced hospitality settings. The Food & Beverage Manager will play a vital role in sustaining smooth operational flow—from shift set-up to close—handling financial responsibilities such as POS accuracy and labor cost monitoring. Additionally, this position involves partnering closely with culinary leadership and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and to support events like private dining and group functions. The manager will foster a guest-first culture by engaging directly with guests, addressing any concerns promptly, and continually seeking to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
This role not only demands strong organizational and communication skills but also requires a thorough understanding of food safety, alcohol service regulations, and basic financial principles. The Food & Beverage Manager will spearhead efforts to uphold Ithaka Hospitality’s policies and service standards, ensuring a professional and positive environment for both guests and staff. Supervisory responsibilities include holding team members accountable, conducting training and coaching sessions, and managing staffing levels efficiently.
Working at Ithaka Hospitality Partners means joining a company that values inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity. The culture here is one of collaboration, growth, and commitment to excellence. This full-time role offers the chance to further one’s career in hospitality leadership while contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences in an elegant setting with breathtaking city views.
