Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four year college or university
- Or four years related supervisory or managerial experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous supervisory experience in a full service or high volume restaurant preferred
- Ability to interact with guests and staff and resolve conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook programs
- Excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four year college or university
- Previous supervisory experience in a full service or high volume restaurant
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to develop and implement staff training and development programs
- Experience with scheduling and labor cost management
- Knowledge of health department standards and gaming laws relevant to F&B operations
- Ability to evaluate and coach employees
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Supervising and managing staff in the F&B FOH department
- Developing, implementing and managing operational goals and monitoring achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Creating effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction
- Enthusiastically supporting and promoting superior customer service in accordance with company standards and addressing issues as they arise
- Responsible for staff development and training programs
- Managing rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement
- Maintaining cost control methods by monitoring pars and inventory
- Ensuring quality assurance procedures meet health department and customer service standards
- Overseeing scheduling, breaks, floor plans, training, evaluating, and counseling team members
- Exhibiting friendly and courteous manner when dealing with customers and team members
- Enforcing all gaming laws and regulations applicable to F&B operations
- Administering restaurant and beverage operations front of house activities
- Establishing and administering training programs within assigned restaurant and lounge
- Ensuring facilities are adequate for performance of duties
- Maintaining and instructing personnel on safety policies and procedures and ensuring hazards are eliminated
- Monitoring appearance of food served and communicating deviations
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting issues to Executive Management
- Maintaining confidentiality in departmental and company matters
