Hotel Equities is currently seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager for the Richardson Hotel located in Buffalo, NY. This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary ranging from $72,000 to $75,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications, along with bonus potential. The role is pivotal in the successful planning, management, and operation of the hotel’s food and beverage services to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction both for guests and staff. The F&B Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as implement both short-term and long-term strategic plans to meet and exceed financial goals.

The position entails developing and recommending budgets, marketing plans, and objectives aligned with the overall business strategy of Hotel Equities. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of hospitality management, capable of handling human resource management functions such as hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to maintain a motivated and productive team. In addition, the F&B Manager must ensure strict compliance with company programs, franchise standards, safety regulations, and all relevant state and federal laws.

This leadership role requires a warm and knowledgeable service approach that reassures guests of their excellent choice in accommodations, reinforcing customer loyalty and encouraging repeat business. The F&B Manager will promote accident prevention programs to minimize liabilities and will manage maintenance and sanitation protocols to uphold the highest quality of service and safety standards within the hotel. They will also be equipped to step into the shoes of the General Manager in their absence, showcasing their ability to handle broader operational responsibilities.

Job Duties

  • Plan and manage the hotel F&B functions to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service
  • manage human resources including hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions

  • resolve customer complaints to maintain satisfaction
