Job Description

The Admiral Hotel and Le Moyne's Chophouse, located in Mobile, Alabama, are pillars of elegance and culinary excellence. Situated at 251 Government Street in the heart of the city, The Admiral Hotel is an iconic establishment that beautifully blends historic art-deco architecture with modern luxury. Paired with Le Moyne's Chophouse, a renowned upscale dining destination, the combined entity offers guests an unforgettable experience of world-class hospitality and gourmet cuisine. The Admiral Hotel and Le Moyne's Chophouse are part of the Avocet Hospitality Group, a name synonymous with quality, culture, and a commitment to enriching lifestyle experiences through exceptional service and distinctive environments.

We are currently seeking a highly organized, strategic, and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Manager to join our team with an annual salary of $55,000. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about the food and beverage industry. The role focuses on managing and optimizing the operations of The Admiral Hotel's food and beverage outlets, including Le Moyne’s Chophouse, The Living Room lounge, Le Café, and upscale banquet spaces.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in not only supporting the outlets during peak hours but also in the behind-the-scenes operations that keep the service seamless and memorable. You will masterfully establish organizational systems, enforce efficient inventory controls, and streamline procurement processes to enhance operational efficacy. Your analytical skills will be key as you interpret financial data, control costs—especially liquor expenses—and forecast inventory and staffing needs to promote profitability and sustainability.

Leadership is at the heart of this position. You will lead and mentor the service staff, fostering a positive culture centered on servant leadership and teamwork. Training and development of the team will be one of your top priorities to ensure the delivery of high-quality service standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with the marketing team to generate engaging, brand-consistent social media content that amplifies our presence and strengthens guest engagement.

During critical periods and major events, your hands-on approach will come to the fore as you provide floor support, stepping directly into the outlets and banquet settings to maintain flawless execution, set service standards, and ensure guest satisfaction remains at the highest level.

This role offers more than a job. At The Admiral Hotel and Le Moyne's Chophouse, you step into an energetic, cultured workplace that celebrates individuality, passion, and fun. We provide deep discounts at all Avocet-owned hotels and restaurants, tuition assistance, and financial flexibility programs such as Earned Wage Access through PayActiv. Our benefits package also includes affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance; company-paid life insurance; short- and long-term disability coverage; a traditional and Roth 401(k) plan with up to a 3.5% match; and generous paid time off including holidays. With clear pathways for internal promotion, this role is designed for long-term growth and career development in hospitality management.
