The role of Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa is an exciting leadership opportunity focused on overseeing all food and beverage operations to guarantee consistent and efficient service delivery. This is a full-time, hourly position with a salary range from $22.70 to $30.60 per hour, commensurate with experience and location, and includes eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. The FBM works closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to manage daily operations with an emphasis on delivering a customer-first experience that keeps food fresh, service speedy, and quality on point. The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales, maintain operational standards, and cultivate an engaged team. It includes full responsibility for the store’s food and beverage programs spanning fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. A key part of the position involves staying current with industry trends and marketing initiatives, training and developing associates, and ensuring that the food service environment meets all health, safety, and cleanliness standards. The FBM must be adaptable, proactive, and possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills essential for thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced retail setting. Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Take ownership of food and beverage programs including fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering
  • Drive food service sales and achieve performance goals with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Monitor market and food trends and collaborate with team members to develop action plans
  • Become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing efforts
  • Deliver training to Customer Service Associates to improve skills and customer service
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, and development of team members
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health standards in food service areas
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering processes, and equipment maintenance
