Established in 1964, Wawa has become a household name recognized for its commitment to quality products, outstanding customer service, and community involvement. Known for its fresh food offerings, including hoagies, coffee, and other grab-and-go meals, Wawa has expanded to numerous locations across several states. The company prides itself on maintaining a customer-centric approach while ensuring that their services and products meet high standards of freshness and convenience. Wawa is an employer that values inclusivity and diversity, offering a supportive workplace where employees, known as Associates, have access to extensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a critical role in overseeing all food and beverage operations within the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure these operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for customers every day. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will help manage daily operations with a sharp focus on fresh food programs, customer service excellence, and operational performance.

The Food & Beverage Manager is entrusted with ownership of Wawa's diverse food and beverage programs, including fresh food items, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering services, and more. Key objectives include driving food service sales, achieving performance goals, and ensuring quality and consistency across all offerings. By monitoring market trends and collaborating with peers, you will create strategic action plans to optimize results and maintain Wawa's competitive edge.

In this leadership role, you will become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, serving as a vital resource for the team. A significant aspect of the position involves training Customer Service Associates to build proficiency and encourage outstanding customer interactions. Supporting hiring, scheduling, and team development is essential to fostering a motivated and competent workforce. Recognizing great performance and assisting in Associates' growth aligns with Wawa’s culture of employee development.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting food service area that adheres to health and safety standards is another critical responsibility. Efficient management of inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep ensures smooth operations and helps prevent disruptions. The Food & Beverage Manager’s role is pivotal in guaranteeing operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and adherence to Wawa’s high standards.

Regarding compensation, this position offers an hourly wage range of $22.70 to $30.60, commensurate with experience, position, and location. Associates in this role are also eligible for monthly bonus incentives, providing additional earning potential. Wawa is committed to making reasonable accommodations for applicants who require assistance during the application process.

As an equal opportunity employer, Wawa fosters a workplace that promotes fairness and respect.
