The Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) role at Wawa is a dynamic position that plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of food and beverage operations within the store. As an FBM, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's food and beverage programs, including fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations with an emphasis on delivering a fresh, efficient, and customer-focused experience consistently. This leadership position demands the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive food service sales, and maintain high standards for quality and safety.
The FBM will become the in-store expert on all food programs and promotional initiatives, training Customer Service Associates to build their proficiency and motivate them to provide outstanding service. You will have a key role in hiring, scheduling, training, and developing team members, recognizing and rewarding great performance, and fostering a positive work environment. Compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount, and the manager will be responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting food service area, overseeing inventory and ordering, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.40 to $31.55, commensurate with experience, position, and location. Additionally, FBMs are eligible for monthly bonus incentives, making this role both rewarding and impactful.
