Currently, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is looking to hire a Food & Beverage Manager who will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest enjoys impeccable service and unforgettable dining experiences. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing "The Cove," the outdoor pools and restaurant area, while also providing support to other Food & Beverage outlets as needed. The Food & Beverage Manager will be a natural leader, someone who can inspire and motivate their team, create a positive and nurturing work environment, and set high standards for service excellence. The individual will need to guide the team to consistently exceed guest expectations through exceptional service, attentiveness, and operational efficiency.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between $81,000 and $86,000. The ideal candidate will have a college education, preferably in hotel or restaurant management, along with proven experience in managing food and beverage operations. The role requires proficiency in English communication and legal authorization to work in the United States. The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including staff selection, training, evaluation, and motivation, along with managing budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and quality control. This position requires a hands-on leader visible in daily operations who can foster strong public relations and handle guest concerns with care and professionalism.

- College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience
- Two to three years previous experience in multiple food & beverage management positions
- Proficiency in reading, writing and oral English
- Legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers in the hotel's food & beverage outlets to ensure established cultural and core standards are met
- Long-range strategic planning for outlet operation
- Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
- Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
