The role of Food & Beverage Manager/Restaurant Manager at the Baltimore Country Club is pivotal in maintaining the club's esteemed reputation for gracious hospitality and excellence in service. This position requires a dynamic leader who will be responsible for managing all aspects of service delivery across the club’s fine and casual dining rooms as well as banquet events. The Manager's primary duties include ensuring that all dining facilities are impeccably presented and that service standards exemplify the club’s commitment to excellence. The Manager acts as the crucial link between the dining room team, kitchen staff, and other departments to coordinate seamless operations that enhance the member experience.

Key responsibilities include interacting directly with members and their guests to ensure satisfaction, addressing and resolving any service-related issues or inquiries related to food and beverages, and overseeing the training, scheduling, and supervision of dining staff to maintain high performance and motivation levels. The Manager also manages operational costs, controls expenses, and maintains accurate inventories of dining room supplies and equipment to support efficient service delivery. A deep understanding of a-la-carte and banquet service management is essential, as is proficiency in food and beverage software alongside Microsoft Excel and Word.

To excel in this position, candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Educational qualifications favor candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, and familiarity with liquor, beer, and wine service is highly desirable. The Baltimore Country Club offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary with performance bonuses, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, generous time off, and a 401k retirement plan featuring employer matching contributions.
