The Food and Beverage Manager position at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the resort’s dining and beverage outlets. This full-time role, offering an annual salary of approximately $70,304, requires overseeing daily food and beverage operations to deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining high quality standards and financial profitability. The manager will coordinate all facets of restaurant operations, including dining service management, reservations, guest interactions, staff supervision, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Outlets to develop special promotions, seasonal menus, and themed events designed to enhance guest experiences and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field, coupled with 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience. They should be adept at using POS systems and restaurant management software and be capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential. Job Duties
- Responsible for daily outlet food and beverage operations including dining service reservations and guest interactions
- ensure smooth and efficient workflow between kitchen bar and front of house teams
- monitor food and beverage quality presentation and service standards
- maintain compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations and liquor laws
- provide a welcoming and memorable dining experience for guests
- address guest inquiries complaints and special requests professionally and efficiently
- implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- monitor reviews and feedback to continuously improve service quality
- monitor inventory of food beverage and supplies and labor expenses ensuring cost effectiveness
- collaborate with Director of Outlets to assist with development of special promotions seasonal offerings and themed events
- recruit train schedule and supervise restaurant servers hosts bartenders bussers and other staff
- ensure associates adhere to hotel policies grooming standards and service protocols
- be available to lead operations in all outlets when necessary
