The Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards and operational efficiency for all food and beverage areas. This full-time, hourly position offers a competitive salary ranging from $23.40 to $31.55 per hour, commensurate with experience and location, along with eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. The FBM works directly with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to oversee daily store operations with a strong focus on delivering a fresh, customer-centric dining experience. Responsibilities include managing food programs such as fresh food offerings, grab-and-go items, beverages, and catering services while ensuring quality and consistency are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate is a leader with a background in food service or retail management, capable of driving sales, motivating team members, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. The role also demands excellent organizational and communication abilities to manage scheduling, training, and team development effectively.   • Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated leadership experience preferably in food service or retail

Job Duties

  • Take ownership of food and beverage programs including fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering
  • Drive food service sales and meet performance goals focusing on quality and consistency
  • Monitor market trends and collaborate with peers to develop action plans to enhance results
  • Serve as the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Deliver training to Customer Service Associates to build skills and motivate outstanding service
  • Support hiring, scheduling, training, and team development efforts
  • Maintain clean, safe, and inviting food service areas complying with health and safety standards
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient operations
