The Food & Beverage Manager role at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is an exciting leadership opportunity centered around overseeing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, primarily focusing on The Cove, the hotel’s outdoor pools and restaurant. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $81,000 - $86,000 and invites a dedicated professional who thrives on inspiring and motivating others while upholding impeccable standards of service. Reporting directly to senior management, the Food & Beverage Manager will ensure that every guest encounter is characterized by exceptional quality, sophistication, and a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires the ability to manage and develop a team through effective training, coaching, and evaluation of staff ranging from entry-level employees to assistant managers. The Food & Beverage Manager will also be responsible for operational oversight including budgeting, labor control, purchasing, inventory, and facility maintenance. A key part of the role includes maintaining a visible presence in the outlets to support and positively engage with both guests and team members. Job Requirements
- College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience
- Two to three years previous experience in multiple food & beverage management positions
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers in the Hotel's Food & Beverage Outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
- Long-range strategic planning for outlet operation
- Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
- Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
