Job Requirements

  • assist in developing financial goals to meet or exceed departmental targets
  • accurately forecast food and beverage revenue and expenses
  • ensure staff are trained in financial control procedures
  • identify revenue and expense opportunities and problems
  • create and distribute schedules in a timely manner
  • develop and implement marketing and sales plans for food and beverage outlets
  • maintain sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment to comply with regulations
  • flexible scheduling availability
  • ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • ability to utilize pos system
  • advanced knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality management principles and practices
  • highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • effective problem-solving skills including anticipating and managing workplace issues
  • ability to work well under stress
  • approachable and readily available to guests, providing excellent customer service
  • valid driver’s license is preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day food and beverage operations in the hotel
  • ensure all food and drinks meet quality standards and stay within budget
  • assist in developing financial goals and accurately forecast revenue and expenses
  • train hotel staff in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
  • identify major revenue and expense opportunities and potential problems
  • create and distribute team member schedules promptly
  • develop and implement marketing and sales plans including menus, promotions, and presentations within brand guidelines
  • manage and maintain sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment
  • ensure compliance with health regulations
