Job Requirements

  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays

Job Qualifications

  • associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations preferably in a private club, upscale restaurant, or resort
  • strong leadership, communication, organizational skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • proficient in POS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email)
  • ServSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • manage daily operations of dining outlets, banquet services, bars
  • ensure consistent high-quality service and presentation across all food and beverage outlets
  • train front-of-house food and beverage personnel
  • oversee the restaurant(s) to ensure all tables are taken care of and all team members are accomplishing the assigned tasks
  • oversee closing procedures and ensure cleanliness and readiness of service areas
  • manage member and guest satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly
  • promote a culture of hospitality and personalized service in line with country club standards
  • support coordination and execution of club events, private functions, tournaments
  • lead and motivate food and beverage team
  • assist in training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development
  • participate in performance evaluations and coaching
  • assist with inventory management
  • monitor compliance with health, safety, sanitation standards
