With a focus on quality, personalized service, and a welcoming atmosphere, the club provides a comprehensive range of food and beverage services, including upscale dining outlets, banquet services, and bars. The club environment fosters a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and continuous improvement, placing a high value on member satisfaction and operational excellence.
The Food and Beverage Manager role at this private country club is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing all front-of-house food and beverage operations. This includes management of daily activities across dining outlets, banquet services, and bar areas, ensuring that every aspect of the food and beverage experience meets the club’s stringent standards. The manager plays a key role in maintaining high-quality service and presentation, cultivating exceptional experiences for members and guests alike. In addition to operational oversight, the position demands strong supervisory capabilities to lead and develop a dedicated team of front-of-house personnel. This involves conducting training programs, enforcing service protocols, and ensuring that team members meet performance expectations.
A unique aspect of this position is its emphasis on personalized member engagement. The Food and Beverage Manager is expected to address member and guest concerns promptly and efficiently, promoting a hospitable and responsive atmosphere aligned with the country club’s reputation. Furthermore, the role includes supporting the seamless coordination of club events, private functions, and tournaments—key highlights that contribute to the club’s vibrant social calendar.
Besides managing operations and member relations, the manager is tasked with key administrative responsibilities, such as inventory oversight, compliance monitoring for health and safety standards, and assisting with general supervisory duties. This role requires proficiency in POS systems and basic computing tools, along with certifications such as ServSafe or Food Handler being preferred.
Candidates for this position should possess an associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field, coupled with 2-4 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage within a private club, upscale restaurant, or resort setting. The work environment combines indoor and outdoor elements, including dining rooms, patios, and event spaces, accommodating a dynamic and flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
This employment opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering high-caliber service in a refined setting and who have the leadership skills to inspire and manage a talented team. With a focus on quality, efficiency, and member satisfaction, this Food and Beverage Manager role offers a rewarding career path within an esteemed private club environment.
