Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all food and beverage operations at one of our store locations. This position is designed for motivated leaders who are passionate about delivering exceptional food quality and customer service. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of food programs, including fresh food preparation, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. Your leadership will help drive sales performance by maintaining high standards of quality and consistency while fostering a positive customer experience.

In this role, you will become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, ensuring that every customer interaction is handled with care and efficiency. You will lead training sessions for Customer Service Associates to build their proficiency and encourage outstanding service delivery. Hiring, scheduling, and team development responsibilities will also fall under your purview, enabling you to recognize and nurture talent and foster a motivated and high-performing team.

Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards is paramount, and you will oversee the food service area to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will manage inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep to support optimal operational performance. Associates in this role are also eligible for monthly bonus incentives.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership experience in food service or retail environments
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in problem solving to boost sales and streamline operations

  • Own and deliver training for Customer Service Associates to build proficiency and motivate outstanding customer service
  • Support hiring, scheduling, training, and team development
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting food service area that meets all health and safety standards
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep to support smooth operations
