Job Description

Wawa, Inc. is a leading convenience store and food service retailer known for offering quality fresh food, beverages, and exceptional customer experiences across multiple locations. Founded with a commitment to community and service excellence, Wawa provides a welcoming environment where associates contribute to creating positive daily experiences for customers. As a company, Wawa emphasizes respect, fairness, and inclusivity while fostering a strong culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, Wawa invests in its associates' financial, physical, and emotional well-being, supporting their growth both personally and professionally.

As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring that each day runs smoothly, freshly, and efficiently. Working in close partnership with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, your primary focus will be delivering a customer-focused experience that consistently meets or exceeds expectations. This leadership position challenges you to own food and beverage programs, including fresh food preparations, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering services, and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving food service sales by hitting performance goals centered on quality and consistency. You will analyze sales trends and collaborate with your peers to develop and implement action plans that optimize results. By becoming the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, you will ensure that your team stays informed and motivated.

Training and development are key components of this role. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to Customer Service Associates, building their proficiency in food service operations and inspiring them to provide outstanding customer service. Supporting hiring, scheduling, and team development efforts, you will recognize exceptional performance and foster growth opportunities for associates, promoting a positive workplace culture.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting food service environment that complies with all health and safety standards is imperative. Daily oversight of inventory management, ordering, and equipment upkeep will also fall under your purview, ensuring smooth and efficient operations without interruption.

The position offers an hourly wage range of $22.70 to $28.40, commensurate with experience, position, and location, along with eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. Wawa prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, emphasizing a discrimination-free work environment. Reasonable accommodation is provided to candidates throughout the hiring process in compliance with applicable law.
