The company prides itself on fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where associates are supported and valued. Wawa's culture focuses on teamwork, integrity, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience, making it an employer of choice in the retail food and beverage industry.

As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a critical role in overseeing all food and beverage operations within the store. This leadership position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering fresh, efficient, and customer-focused services daily. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will help ensure that every aspect of food and beverage operations runs smoothly and consistently, driving sales while maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that Wawa is known for.

Your responsibilities will include managing food programs such as fresh food, grab-and-go meals, catered services, and a variety of beverages. You will take ownership of these programs by leading efforts to drive food service sales and meet performance goals, focusing on delivering quality products and excellent customer service. Monitoring market trends and collaborating with your peers to develop and implement action plans to optimize financial results is a key aspect of this role. As the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, you will ensure that your team is well-informed and motivated.

Training and developing staff is another vital component of the Food & Beverage Manager role. You will be responsible for delivering ongoing training to Customer Service Associates, building their skills and proficiency so they can provide outstanding customer service. Supporting hiring, scheduling, and team development efforts will also fall under your purview, as you recognize and reward great performance while helping associates grow professionally.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the food service area is essential, as is ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. You will oversee inventory management, ordering, and equipment maintenance to guarantee smooth operations. This role demands strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and a passion for creating an excellent customer experience.

The hourly compensation for this Food & Beverage Manager position ranges from $23.40 to $31.55, varying based on location, experience, and other factors. Additionally, associates in this role are eligible for monthly bonus incentives, rewarding your contributions to the company's success. Wawa is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations during the application process to ensure all candidates have an equal opportunity to apply. As an equal opportunity employer, Wawa values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and prohibits any form of discrimination. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic and rewarding career in food and beverage management within a supportive and growth-oriented company environment.
