The company emphasizes a friendly and inclusive work environment, highly valuing its associates and their development through extensive benefits and growth opportunities. Known for constantly innovating their food and beverage offerings, Wawa delivers an inviting atmosphere where customers receive quick, efficient service that meets high standards of freshness and quality.
As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will take charge of all food and beverage operations within a store to ensure they run smoothly and consistently at peak performance. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to facilitate daily operational goals with a strong emphasis on providing a fresh, efficient, and customer-focused experience every day. This critical role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who embraces hands-on management and understands the dynamics of fast-paced food service environments. Your leadership will directly impact sales, quality assurance, staff development, and customer satisfaction.
In this position, you will oversee various facets of the food and beverage programs, including fresh foods, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. You will be responsible for driving food service sales and achieving performance targets by focusing on consistent quality and monitoring market trends to adapt strategies promptly. As an in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, you will ensure your team stays informed and aligned with company directives. You will also own the training and development of Customer Service Associates, empowering them to deliver exemplary service and fostering a positive work environment that encourages employee growth and recognition.
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment are key components of your operational duties to support uninterrupted service delivery. You will uphold strict health and safety standards in the food service area, maintaining a clean and inviting space for both employees and customers. This role also includes supporting hiring processes, scheduling shifts, and developing teams aligned with business needs and overall company policies.
Wawa offers an attractive hourly wage range of $22.70 - $28.40 for this role, which is commensurate with experience, position, and location. Additionally, associates in this position are eligible for monthly bonus incentives, enhancing the overall compensation package.
