Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage management or a related field
  • proven leadership abilities
  • ability to communicate effectively with staff and management
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • familiarity with POS systems and inventory software
  • knowledge of food safety and hospitality regulations
  • capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Schedule staff according to occupancy and sales demands
  • cover shifts in all food and beverage areas when necessary
  • use labor scheduling forecasts to assist in scheduling
  • supervise all food and beverage staff
  • participate in hiring process
  • assess and review staff performance and maintain personnel records
  • communicate effectively to staff and management including info board and event schedules
  • conduct staff briefings
  • ensure adherence to safety practices and hospitality laws
  • act as POS system expert and manage ordering and inventory
  • maintain emergency and security procedures
  • respond to guest complaints promptly and take corrective action
  • communicate with leadership team in weekly meetings
  • work to ensure food quality
  • prepare monthly inventories for food and beverage and banquet supplies
  • prepare weekly purchase orders for food
  • control food costs to maintain ideal levels
  • negotiate with food distributors for best pricing and quality
  • uphold brand standards for food presentation and kitchen cleanliness
  • engage in professional development and brand training
  • provide advisory and executive support to General Manager
  • perform additional duties as assigned
