As a renowned hotel within the hospitality industry, it prides itself on delivering superior guest satisfaction through well-orchestrated operations, a dedicated team, and thoughtful management. The company continually seeks to uphold its reputation by ensuring every aspect of the guest experience is meticulously executed with an emphasis on quality and professionalism. This role is central to the food and beverage division of the hotel, a critical area that significantly impacts guest experiences and operational efficiency.
The position is for a Food and Beverage Manager who will efficiently supervise, guide, and train all management-level associates within the food and beverage discipline. This role demands a proactive leader capable of overseeing all shift hours to guarantee continuous supervision of every department involved in food and beverage operations. The employment type is typically full-time, reflecting the demanding and multifaceted nature of hotel food and beverage management. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in scheduling, evaluating, and directing a diverse team, while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
This role encompasses the establishment and review of performance standards related to food preparation, purchasing, and production. The manager will ensure these processes are executed effectively, controlled to manage costs, and coordinated for overall team success. Maintaining proper inventory levels of supplies and materials is another key responsibility to support associate productivity. Additionally, the manager will uphold rigorous food handling protocols and sanitation procedures to protect guest health and safety.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the Food and Beverage Manager is tasked with directing liquor handling procedures with a focus on security and accountability, ensuring that all practices conform to legal and internal guidelines. The role requires close collaboration with the hotel management team, including participating in monthly meetings and inventory procedures, as well as Executive Committee meetings. Financial stewardship is a notable component of the position; responsibilities include driving food and beverage financial performance through menu creation, specials, promotions, and vigilant management of food costs and staffing levels.
As a leadership figure, the manager will also coach and counsel associates and management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Other duties may be assigned to support the effective operation of the entire hotel property. This position requires a versatile individual with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Physical requirements for the role include working in a standard office environment with prolonged periods of desk work, computer use, and occasional physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting light items.
Overall, this job offers a compelling opportunity for candidates who are passionate about food and beverage operations, guest satisfaction, and leadership within the hospitality sector. By joining this team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the hotel’s service offerings and operational success, contributing directly to the guest experience and the company’s continued growth.
