The Food & Beverage Manager at Hotel Lincoln plays a pivotal role in supporting the department head by overseeing the operations of the food and beverage departments. This position is vital in maintaining compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards to ensure the highest standards are met consistently. The Food & Beverage Manager focuses on elevating food and beverage quality, service standards, and marketing efforts to maximize profitability and promote exceptional customer service. This role involves interviewing, training, supervising, coaching, scheduling, and managing a diverse team of employees to achieve operational excellence. Ideal candidates will have a background in fine dining and coffee shop management along with banquet management experience. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a positive and professional workplace environment. Compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 67,000 to USD 70,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this management role within the hotel's vibrant hospitality team. Job Requirements

  • Read, write and speak English
  • Prefer two to three years of fine dining and or coffee shop management experience
  • Prefer two years banquet management experience
  • Food Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Previous supervisory management skills and experience
  • Requires 8th grade math level
  • Requires high school reasoning level
  • Requires 12th grade language use level
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to the health safety of self or others

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of fine dining or coffee shop management experience preferred
  • Two years of banquet management experience preferred
  • Food and Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and employees
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Proficiency in English language skills
  • Basic math and reasoning skills

Job Duties

  • Assist department head in oversight of food and beverage activities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
