The LifeCafe Leader role is a pivotal position within the Life Time family, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic growth of a LifeCafe location. This hands-on leadership role involves managing both front-of-house and back-of-house functions to ensure seamless execution of food and beverage services consistent with Life Time’s high standards. The LifeCafe Leader works closely alongside their team members in "The Zone," a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional quality menu items, prompt service, and a memorable customer experience. This position requires a motivated individual who can drive financial performance through effective management of budgets, payroll, inventory, and cost controls while fostering a positive and growth-oriented team culture.

In addition to operational oversight, the LifeCafe Leader plays a critical role in talent development by hiring, training, and mentoring team members to excel within their roles. The leader is responsible for enforcing consistent compliance with safety, cleanliness, and security protocols to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both team members and guests. This position offers a competitive salary starting at $64,000, with the potential to earn up to $88,000 based on experience and qualifications. Bonuses tied to performance metrics further incentivize success. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent knowledge of cost control, labor, reporting KPI’s
  • Systems oriented and process minded with a strong ability to develop and implement new systems for continuous improvement
  • Ability to handle pressure well and maintain composure in any situation
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced food or hospitality setting
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

  • Alcohol Safety Certification (if applicable)
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • College degree in culinary, business, or related field preferred
  • Preferred chef/culinary experience
  • Prior or current business owner experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including inventory, scheduling, payroll, and adherence to operational policies
  • Works in 'The Zone' alongside the team, ensuring quality execution of menu items, accurate ticket times, and exceptional service
  • Manages business financials, including P&L, budgeting, and cost controls for food, beverage, and labor
  • Hires, trains, develops, and motivates team members to build a high-performing, growth-minded team culture
  • Ensures compliance with all safety, cleanliness, and security protocols through regular inspection and coaching
