Job Description
Glenmoor Country Club, founded in 1985 and located in Cherry Hills Village, CO, is an upscale, family-oriented private club that offers a premium golf course and outstanding hospitality services. Renowned for its leadership, innovation, and expertise within the hospitality and private club industry, Glenmoor strives to provide an exceptional and family-friendly experience for its members. With superior facilities and a commitment to quality service, Glenmoor continues to be a respected destination for both recreation and social activities in the Denver metro area. The Club prides itself on fostering a creative and talented team who are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and meeting the evolving demands of its distinguished membership.
The Food & Beverage Manager at Glenmoor Country Club plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and high standards of all Food & Beverage outlets within the Club. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director, this full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $78,000 annually, dependent on experience, along with comprehensive benefits. This role is strategically important, especially as the Clubhouse undergoes a major renovation, offering the unique opportunity to be part of the transition and opening of one of the most modern club facilities in the Denver area. The Manager will oversee daily Food & Beverage functions, working closely with outlet leaders, culinary teams, and Club leadership to maintain a seamless operation in an upscale hospitality setting.
Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff, as well as managing schedules, labor budgets, and staffing requirements across multiple outlets. The Manager will lead a diverse team comprising bussers, servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff, emphasizing a culture of accountability, hospitality excellence, and customer service within a non-tipping service model. This position requires hands-on leadership with a focus on mentoring and coaching, ensuring the delivery of exceptional member and guest experiences during peak periods, including evenings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, and special events. This leadership role involves maintaining and updating training materials, service standards, SOPs, and conducting regular pre-shift lineups to reinforce service expectations.
The Food & Beverage Manager must be adaptable and comfortable navigating Glenmoor’s temporary operational setups during renovation, including managing staff in provisional kitchen and office spaces, ensuring that service quality remains uncompromised. Collaboration with culinary and leadership teams on service execution, menu rollouts, and staff education is also a key part of this role. Glenmoor offers a stimulating and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth, golf privileges, branded attire, and continuing education. The position typically averages 40 hours per week and affords accrued sick and vacation pay, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and paid holidays. This role is suited for an experienced hospitality professional passionate about private club service and operational excellence in a dynamic, evolving environment.
