Job Description

Glenmoor Country Club, established in 1985, is a prestigious private club and golf course located in the scenic Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, just west of Belleview and I-25. Renowned for its upscale and family-oriented environment, Glenmoor is dedicated to providing its Members with an exceptional experience, supported by superior facilities and top-notch services. The club holds a solid reputation for excellence in leadership, innovation, and expertise within the private club industry. Team Members at Glenmoor are encouraged to utilize their creativity and skills to devise innovative solutions, cater effectively to evolving demands, and deliver the highest quality services and products to Members and guests. The intimate and exclusive ambiance of Glenmoor offers a unique blend of luxury, community, and recreational opportunities, positioning it as one of the most sought-after private clubs in the Denver metropolitan area.

The Food & Beverage Manager role at Glenmoor Country Club is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets across the club. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director, this full-time exempt position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $78,000 per year, depending on experience, alongside comprehensive benefits. The role offers a distinctive opportunity to contribute to the Clubhouse’s major renovation and the launch of one of the most modern club facilities in the area, ensuring a smooth transition and re-opening.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing a diverse team across multiple outlets. Your duties include creating and managing staff schedules, overseeing staffing levels, and maintaining labor costs within budget parameters. You will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring team members including servers, bartenders, bussers, hosts, and support staff. This includes maintaining high service standards, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and leading daily pre-shift meetings to reinforce hospitality expectations.

The position demands a commitment to excellence in member service by fostering strong professional relationships and continually enhancing the team’s Food & Beverage knowledge. You will collaborate closely with Culinary and Club leadership teams, assist with service and menu rollouts, and adapt operations to fluctuating demands, especially during the renovation period when temporary setups are in place. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Glenmoor operates a non-tipping service model, emphasizing equitable hourly wages and a team-centric approach to hospitality. The environment champions ongoing development and education, creating ample opportunities for career advancement while maintaining a beautiful workplace setting enriched with benefits like golf privileges and branded attire. This role is ideal for leaders passionate about private club service excellence and eager to drive a dynamic and positive food and beverage operation during an exciting period of transformation at Glenmoor Country Club.
