This role requires a proactive and organized individual who excels in managing daily operations while ensuring outstanding customer service. Working alongside the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, the FBM will focus on delivering high-quality, fresh food products and beverages consistently to customers, fostering an inviting store atmosphere, and driving sales growth. The role involves taking full ownership of Wawa’s food and beverage programs, including grab-and-go meals, catering, and promotional initiatives.\n\nAs an FBM, you will become the in-store expert on all food programs and marketing campaigns, ensuring they are expertly executed to maximize performance and customer satisfaction. You will lead and motivate Customer Service Associates through effective training and team development, supporting hiring, scheduling, and recognizing excellent performance. Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized food service area is paramount to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The role also includes managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained to support smooth daily operations. This position offers an hourly wage range between $22.70 and $28.40, commensurate with experience and location, and includes eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, make decisions, and drive change in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in problem solving to drive results, boost sales, and streamline operations

Job Duties

  • Take ownership of our food and beverage programs including fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering, and more
  • Drive food service sales and hit performance goals with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Monitor trends and work with peers to create action plans to optimize results
  • Become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Own and deliver training for Customer Service Associates to build proficiency and motivate outstanding customer service
  • Support hiring, scheduling, training, and team development
  • Recognize great performance and help Associates grow
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting food service area that meets all health and safety standards
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep to support smooth and efficient operations
