Job Description

We are a luxury hospitality establishment dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience across multiple venues within our property. Our establishment includes a sophisticated lobby lounge, the renowned Gibson Bar, in-room dining services for the utmost convenience and comfort, as well as an inviting outdoor pool area. As a premier location known for upscale services and elegant ambiance, we are committed to operational excellence and delivering personalized service that consistently exceeds guest expectations.

This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits after just 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance to safeguard your health and well-being. We also offer floating holidays and sick pay to support a balanced and flexible work-life routine. After 90 days, employees become eligible for vacation time totaling 40 hours to encourage rest and rejuvenation. The role requires weekend and holiday availability due to the nature of the hospitality industry, ensuring seamless service at peak times when our guests need us the most. Clear communication skills in English—both written and spoken—are essential to effectively coordinate operations and deliver excellent guest experiences.

The position summary entails overseeing daily operations across multiple outlets within our property, such as the lobby lounge, Gibson Bar, in-room dining services, and the outdoor pool area. The manager in this role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency, supervising staff, ensuring the highest quality service standards, and creating a seamless luxury experience for all guests. Support also extends to the full-service restaurant during busy times, ensuring all outlets operate harmoniously and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities include supervising daily activities across all assigned outlets, delivering personalized and attentive guest service, and promptly resolving any guest concerns to maintain satisfaction. Leadership and coaching of team members are vital, as is ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Scheduling and staffing coordination form part of the managerial duties to ensure optimal shift coverage and efficient operations. Maintaining quality, presentation, and cleanliness is paramount across all areas. The role demands adaptability to assist restaurant operations during peak service periods or as business demands arise, fostering a collaborative work environment focused on exceptional service delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Must be available weekends and holidays
  • must be able to communicate clearly in English (read, speak, and write)
  • ability to stand, walk, and move around the dining area for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours)
  • ability to lift and carry heavy trays, food, and beverage orders (up to 25 pounds)
  • ability to bend, squat, and reach in order to serve guests and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas
  • comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with high noise levels
  • good physical stamina and mobility to efficiently serve a high volume of customers throughout shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory or lead experience in food & beverage, preferably upscale or luxury
  • strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
