Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- minimum 5-7 years of experience as a manager in a restaurant or resort hotel
- minimum 5-7 years of food and beverage experience
- any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from college with training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- ability to work around hot equipment
- occasionally be exposed to cold temperatures (walk in freezer/refrigerator)
- ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- able to walk or stand for duration of shift
- willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all restaurant operations
- achieve budgeted food and beverage revenue and maximize profitability
- manage department labor and food costs and develop and maintain all cost control procedures
- provide detailed monthly forecast of revenues, food cost and labor for each department
- conduct monthly inventories of all food and beverage items
- participate and provide input towards food and beverage marketing activities and solicit local business with promotional offerings
- anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- strive to provide every guest with an exceptional experience
- maintain a high ratio of return customers through best in class customer service
- monitor restaurant activities and troubleshoot problems to maintain and improve daily operations
- assist kitchen leadership and staff during peak periods to facilitate communication and ensure prompt food service and quality
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, proper sanitation standards and organization to fulfill health requirements
- demonstrate engaging and supportive leadership style and strong work ethic
- foster a safe work environment by following safety guidelines
- directly lead and oversee work of all team members and adjust assignments based on business needs
- prepare weekly work schedules and adjust staffing as needed
- interview and hire restaurant staff based on staffing needs and budget
- train new team members and assign training responsibilities
- coach and develop restaurant team members on duties and performance
- evaluate and review personnel performance through evaluations and coaching
- learn and utilize all reporting systems and maintain in-depth knowledge of all metrics
- maintain an accurate balance at registers and in the safe
- uphold financial systems and policies for accuracy
- perform and maintain accurate inventories at all times
- oversee and maintain working knowledge of all equipment and place service calls as needed
- maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware, menu items, dining room layout, P.O.S. systems, daily house counts, arrivals/departures, VIPs, and all product ordering
- communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- organize time efficiently
- complete other duties as needed to support the business
