Job Requirements

- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to safely lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments as needed
- Ability to work in environments where common allergens are present
- Compliance with federal, state, and local food and beverage laws

Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old for Bakery roles
- Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within timeframes
- Accurate cash register handling skills
- Comfortable climbing ladders
- Able to handle and move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds safely
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in environments with common allergens
- Capacity to work outdoors or in varying weather conditions
- Able to remain mobile for the duration of shift
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by prioritizing guest needs over tasks
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food deliveries, replenishment, merchandise straightening, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organization of reserve product
- Follow all food safety requirements in accordance with Target’s policies and procedures
- Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- Work with vendors to set and maintain salesfloor merchandise displays and organize backroom space
- Locate and process damaged, recalled, or expired items per company policies
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the store to solve guest issues
- Execute all federal, state, and local adult beverage laws as applicable
- Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment appropriately
- Maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and report hazards promptly
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs
- Thank guests and reinforce a positive shopping experience
- Perform all other duties as business needs require
