Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work where common allergens may be present
- Ability to remain mobile for entire shift
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product
- Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target's policies and procedures
- Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- Work with vendors to set and maintain merchandise displays and organized backroom space
- Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to policies
