The Food and Beverage - Food Runner/Busser role at Madame Tussauds Hollywood offers an exciting part-time opportunity to be part of this magical environment. As a Food Runner/Busser, you will be responsible for attending to guests, assisting servers and hosts, and maintaining a welcoming and clean dining area. Your duties include delivering meals, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and supporting the front-of-house setup and breakdown processes. This role demands excellent communication skills, a hospitable attitude, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Flexibility in working various shifts and the stamina to stand and move for extended periods are essential for success in this position.

Job Requirements

Experience in the restaurant, food-service, or hospitality industry preferred
Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged hours
Must be able to pass a Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Exam within 30 days of employment
Ability to work in fast-paced, multitask environments and variable weather conditions
Excellent communication skills
Hospitable and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

Adopts an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to guest service, and demonstrates the Merlin values at every opportunity
May be responsible for taking, placing, and serving orders in a section or multiple sections
Assists in removing used plates, glasses, and cutlery at the completion of the diners' meal, refilling drinks and other dining items as needed, and delivering meals
Must understand and meet all guest expectations and be able to effectively communicate and provide services to guests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
Assists in set-up and tear-down of tables and service stations within the front and back of house as well as maintains cleanliness of dining area during service hours
Must follow all state laws and license restrictions governing the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
Responsibility to ensure compliance of health, safety & security within the workplace, including COVID-19 policies, practices, and regulations
