Country Club of Landfall is an exclusive and prestigious private club located on the southern coast of North Carolina. The Food & Beverage FOH Manager position at Country Club of Landfall is a full-time, salaried exempt role, suited for an experienced leader passionate about hospitality. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operational management of the food and beverage department, ensuring that all dining areas and clubhouse meeting rooms operate smoothly during shifts. The manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, proper setup, and outstanding service that aligns with the club's prestigious reputation. Duties also include managing inventory, controlling costs, producing sales analyses, and supporting marketing efforts to boost participation and revenue.

In addition to operational oversight, this leadership role involves recruiting, training, and supervising a talented team to deliver excellent service. The manager fosters a positive work environment, encourages teamwork, and drives continuous improvement among staff. Member satisfaction is a top priority, with direct responsibility for ensuring that all members and guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience and that their feedback is addressed promptly. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing food and beverage operations in upscale settings and possess thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and ABC laws. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. While a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory; however, candidates should have between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management
  • Must have open availability to include weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a food and beverage manager in a high-end hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and ABC laws
  • Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Oversight of day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department ensuring high standards of service
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the dining areas and meeting rooms of the clubhouse during assigned shifts
  • Assure the correct appearance cleanliness and proper set-up of the dining rooms and clubhouse
  • Produce daily meal period sales analyses and other reports from POS used in the ala carte dining rooms when needed
  • Manage inventory control costs and recognize patterns
  • Provide appropriate reports concerning employee hours schedules pay rates job changes tips etc
  • Develop and implement an on-going marketing program to increase F&B participation and revenue
  • Assist with recruiting training and supervising a talented team of service staff
  • Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Ensure an exceptional dining experience for members and guests
  • Respond promptly to member feedback and address any concerns or issues
  • Manage the dining room each shift to ensure service is meeting all standards
  • Collaborate with the event department to assist with executing flawless private events weddings and club functions when needed
  • Help ensure all catering services align with the club's standards of excellence when needed
