Job Description

Our establishment is a dynamic and vibrant casino venue dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience through exemplary food and beverage service. Known for its engaging atmosphere and commitment to hospitality, it offers a wide array of entertainment options, gaming, and dining experiences in a lively, customer-focused environment. The company is devoted to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. This position is a full-time role, focused on weekend and weekday shifts, where the successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining smooth operations, improving employee performance, and upholding policies and gaming regulations within the venue.

The role of Shift Supervisor in this casino venue is essential for overseeing the daily operational functions during assigned shifts. This position involves ensuring that all aspects of the venue's service, from food and beverage delivery to guest relations, adhere to the company’s rigorous standards. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for enforcing performance standards, monitoring service quality, and collaborating closely with both venue management and other operational departments such as Culinary and Stewarding. A visible and active leadership presence is critical, as the Shift Supervisor is charged with identifying operational challenges and providing solutions that enhance both guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

In addition to fostering a seamless guest experience, this role emphasizes the importance of compliance with health and safety standards, including all applicable local, state, and federal laws related to beverage service and gaming regulations. The Shift Supervisor will play a key role in managing employee schedules to meet staffing demands efficiently, and providing coaching and developmental feedback to staff to enhance their skill sets. Moreover, this position requires administrative oversight such as completing daily reports, handling scheduling, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that opening and closing checklists are completed accurately.

The casino values a positive and respectful workplace environment, one where employees are encouraged to communicate openly, share ideas, and resolve conflicts constructively. Leading by example, the Shift Supervisor will inspire employees to embody integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. This role involves direct supervision of all service employees on the assigned shift and participation in the hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary processes to maintain a well-functioning team.

Overall, the Shift Supervisor will be the cornerstone of day-to-day operations in their assigned venue, driving guest satisfaction through prompt and courteous service, efficient employee management, and adherence to strict regulatory requirements.
