The Grill Manager role at East Bank Club is critical to the successful daily operations of multiple dining outlets, including The Grill, Juice Bar, Sundeck Café, and Pool Bar. This full-time salaried position, with an annual compensation of $65,000, is designed for an experienced restaurant management professional who excels in fast-paced, high-volume environments with a strong emphasis on hospitality-driven service standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience, a thorough understanding of restaurant operations, and the ability to foster strong relationships with club members and team members alike.
This role requires a proactive leader who can independently manage floor operations during assigned shifts while supporting the Grill General Manager in the overall leadership of the department. The Grill Manager is responsible for ensuring operational consistency, driving exceptional member experiences, and maintaining the high standards that East Bank Club is known for. Duties include overseeing opening and closing procedures, staffing, inventory management, food safety compliance, and real-time problem-solving. The successful candidate will lead pre-shift meetings to reinforce service standards, food knowledge, and member engagement initiatives.
A strong focus of this position is on team leadership and development. The Grill Manager supports the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality excellence. This role demands excellent communication skills, leadership presence, and the ability to handle service recovery and operational challenges with professionalism and urgency.
Operationally, the Grill Manager will maintain detailed knowledge of menus across all outlets, manage cash handling and POS systems, assist with scheduling and payroll, and support labor and cost control measures. Flexibility is required, including availability nights, weekends, holidays, and seasonal periods, to meet the operational demands of the club. The position also includes supporting club events, promotions, and other initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive restaurant leadership experience required
- Experience leading restaurant operations independently during assigned shifts
- Strong understanding of hospitality-driven service standards and member engagement
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, sanitation, and beverage programs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem solve, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments
- Financial acumen with understanding of labor management, food cost, inventory controls, and operational performance metrics
- Strong POS and restaurant systems knowledge
- Experience with inventory and restaurant management systems preferred
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and seasonal operational needs
- Culinary knowledge and familiarity with juice bar operations is a plus
