The General Merchandise and Food Sales team is composed of experts dedicated to maintaining store processes and enhancing efficiency, ultimately ensuring a consistent and enjoyable experience for guests. Team members lead vital processes such as inbound merchandise handling, outbound logistics, replenishment, and promotional signing activities within the General Merchandise (GM) sections of the store. They also conduct inventory accuracy checks, merchandise setup, maintenance, and execute pricing strategies throughout the store.

In addition to managing sales floor functions, team members provide essential support for order fulfillment, including pick, pack, and ship operations, enabling efficient delivery to customers. The position requires familiarity with the foundational principles of guest service, integrating guest-centric culture into daily activities. Individuals in this role monitor sales trends, manage inventory restocking, and implement improvements to optimize business operations. Interaction with guests is a key component, where team members greet shoppers warmly, assist with their specific needs, and ensure they feel valued and appreciated.

Daily duties involve a balance between routine tasks and dynamic responsibilities such as handling product deliveries, restocking shelves, organizing storage areas, arranging merchandise, and setting up promotional displays for the GM sections. Operating power machinery with proper certification to move merchandise and manage store fixtures is also part of the role. Team members evaluate how merchandising setups, stock control, and a clean sales environment impact overall inventory management and store profitability.
