Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and quick resolution of guest questions
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capacity to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Capability to climb up and down ladders
- Physical ability to lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Able to work in cold environments ranging from 34 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in spaces with common allergens
- Capacity to remain mobile for the full duration of a shift

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or retail grocery preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to use multiple frequency devices and handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capable of resolving guest questions quickly and courteously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Ability to adhere to all compliance and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and full shopping availability during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain all Food & Beverage standards consistently
- Execute daily food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing backstock
- Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target's policies and procedures
- Use sampling and suggestive selling techniques to promote products and increase sales
- Collaborate with vendors to maintain and adjust merchandise displays and keep backroom organized
- Identify and handle damaged, recalled, or expired products according to policy
- Be knowledgeable about store products and services to solve guest issues
- Comply with all federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
- Use and maintain personal and in-store protective equipment appropriately
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- Support guest services like cashier backup, order pick up (OPU), and Drive-Up (DU)
- Create a welcoming environment by greeting guests and assisting with their needs
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
