Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in healthcare or senior living food service
- proven track record in kitchen management
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work varied hours including weekends
- knowledge of dietary requirements for senior populations
- capability to manage food safety compliance
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- effective teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties
- Provide a high-quality dining experience
- supervise food services program that meets and exceeds senior community requirements
- prepare menus and food products following meal presentation standards
- serve meals promptly and professionally
- ensure proper timing, temperature, and garnishing of food items
- produce food for independent, assisted, and memory care housing segments
- manage catering services both in-house and external
- maintain accurate food and supply inventory
- plan dietary food services program incorporating varied tastes
- follow prime food vendor regulations
- coordinate with Executive Director and Food & Beverage Director on menu planning
- maintain proper records including meal cost summaries
- adhere to budget guidelines
- purchase food, kitchen supplies, and equipment competitively
- manage food production and sanitation within expense guidelines
- assist in developing revenue-enhancing food and catering opportunities
- prepare meals using provided recipes
- use equipment safely
- prepare food items for serving
- check serving line condition before service
