Job Description

Our client is launching an exciting new clubhouse and upscale restaurant in Elkhorn, Nebraska, aiming to craft an exceptional hospitality experience from the start. This establishment is set to become a premier dining and social destination within the community, blending modern amenities with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The new clubhouse will feature multiple dining outlets and beverage services, designed to meet the needs of discerning club members and guests in a refined yet approachable setting. With attention to ambiance, cuisine, and service, the club seeks to offer an unparalleled experience that distinguishes it from other venues in the region.

They are currently searching for two key leadership roles: a Food & Beverage Director and an Executive Chef. These roles present a unique opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals to play a foundational role in shaping operations and service standards for this premier property. Both positions come with competitive salaries that can reach up to $130,000 annually, along with benefits such as company-sponsored medical and dental insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.

The Food & Beverage Director position involves comprehensive oversight of all dining and beverage operations across the club. This includes direct supervision of department managers such as the Beverage Manager, Banquet Manager, and Dining Room Manager. The director will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring a dedicated team, ensuring that guest service standards remain consistent and exceptional throughout every outlet. By applying strategic marketing principles and supporting event planning efforts, this director will help to shape the overall member experience. A strong service orientation and leadership skills are crucial to succeed in this role.

Parallelly, the Executive Chef will assume culinary leadership for the entire property’s kitchen operations. This role includes ownership of menu development for multiple outlets, staff recruitment and development, and strict quality control to maintain high food standards. The Executive Chef must be detail-oriented and driven to maintain consistency in culinary excellence. Beyond menu creation and staff leadership, administrative duties such as financial oversight and health and safety compliance are integral aspects of this position. The chef will foster a cohesive and motivated kitchen team committed to delivering outstanding food and supports the brand’s premium positioning.

Joining this team means being part of a supportive environment focused on innovation, quality, and exceptional service. Both positions are critical to defining the new clubhouse as a top-tier hospitality destination in Elkhorn, providing creative freedom to influence all operational aspects. Candidates with at least five years of relevant experience will thrive in these challenging yet rewarding roles. This is an opportunity not just to take on a job, but to impact a hospitality venture from its inception and contribute to the community’s cultural and social fabric.
