Job Description

Arbor Lodging is a prominent hotel investment and management company that has established a robust presence across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. With an expanding portfolio of hotels, Arbor Lodging is trusted by numerous partners and is an approved manager for prestigious brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG. The company distinguishes itself through a service ethos that is both proactive and holistic, creating an environment where guests feel genuinely welcomed and consistently supported throughout every interaction. Arbor Lodging fosters a culture that is people-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented, emphasizing integrity, accountability, and inclusiveness within its team and operations.

Within this dynamic and growth-driven organization, the Food & Beverage Director role offers a unique leadership opportunity. This position holds strategic and operational responsibility across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, banquets, in-room dining, and bar operations. The Food & Beverage Director is accountable for the department’s profit and loss (P&L) performance and brand vision, ensuring the outlets align with the hotel’s standards and market positioning. This role requires a leader who can drive revenue growth, maximize margins, and inspire a high-performing team of culinary and service professionals to deliver superior guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in full-service hotel or resort food and beverage management, with 10 to 15 years of progressive leadership experience. They will be able to develop and execute comprehensive food and beverage strategies that align with brand direction while managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and rigorously controlling costs. This role demands expertise in menu engineering, pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and innovation to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance sustainability practices.

Operational oversight is a critical function, requiring the director to ensure seamless delivery across multiple outlets, including the restaurant, banquets, in-room dining, and the Speak Easy Bar. Compliance with food safety, sanitation, liquor liability, and labor regulations is imperative to maintain the highest hospitality standards. Leadership capabilities extend to mentoring and developing a skilled team comprising the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager, and Banquet Captain, fostering a collaborative and successful work environment.

Arbor Lodging’s Food & Beverage Director also has the opportunity to infuse creativity into the role by sharing cooking skills and culinary talents with the breakfast and evening cook teams. The compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a competitive benefits package. Employees enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance options, wellness benefits, a 401k program with company matching, and opportunities for salary review and increase. Arbor Lodging is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring practices.

Joining Arbor Lodging means becoming part of a values-driven company that adheres to five guiding principles: Do the Right Thing, Lead with Heart, Be Accountable, Aim Higher, and Celebrate Differences. These principles shape a workplace culture where growth, development, and progression are not only encouraged but are the foundation for lasting success. This role is perfect for a seasoned food and beverage professional seeking to make a significant impact within a reputable and growing hotel management company providing a rewarding, challenging, and supportive work environment.
