Additionally, the Food and Beverage Director cultivates a vibrant team culture, emphasizing motivation, engagement, and professionalism. They set the standard for 'Unreasonable Hospitality,' a philosophy aimed at delivering not just positive but truly remarkable and memorable guest experiences. This involves proactive communication, embracing feedback, and fostering a solution-oriented mindset among team members. The Director also ensures compliance with all food safety regulations, sanitary practices, and certification requirements, working closely with culinary teams to maintain impeccable standards.

Operationally, this role involves leading daily shift operations, staffing adjustments, and service planning, while maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and guests. The Director cultivates community relationships by partnering with local businesses and suppliers, reinforcing Sendero Ranch's commitment to supporting diverse and small enterprises. Physical presence in the operation is crucial, with the Director expected to perform alongside the team when necessary, maintaining a hands-on leadership style.

Ideal candidates possess 5-10 years of experience in a General Manager or similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry. They exhibit strong communication skills, sound judgment under pressure, emotional maturity, and a continuous improvement mindset. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant operational software is required. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and special events, is also essential.

Overall, the Food and Beverage Director at Sendero Ranch plays a vital role in nurturing a vibrant, inclusive team culture, delivering outstanding hospitality, managing comprehensive operational and financial responsibilities, and reinforcing the Ranch’s reputation as a leading destination for unforgettable guest experiences.
