The role of Food & Beverage Director at The Beverly Hills Hotel is a pivotal leadership position within the Food & Beverage - Restaurant division. This permanent, full-time role entails strategic oversight and operational leadership of all Food & Beverage operations throughout the hotel. The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by driving financial performance, fostering innovation, and cultivating a culture of excellence across the division. This position requires a visionary leader who can inspire and mentor a diverse team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. The Food & Beverage Director will champion the Dorchester Collection’s 'We Care' culture, ensuring that service excellence is at the core of all operations.

In this role, you will oversee a wide array of food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, culinary operations, and stewarding. You will lead the planning and successful launch of five new venues, including a signature restaurant, standalone bars, a private dining room, and a screening room concept, scheduled for Fall 2026. Your strategic leadership will align with brand standards, luxury service expectations, and business objectives while maintaining operational excellence in quality, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Financial acumen is critical in this role, as you will direct all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, labor management, cost control, and profit and loss accountability. By analyzing market trends and guest feedback, you will identify opportunities for growth and enhanced guest satisfaction. Collaboration with Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and operational leaders will be key to maximizing hotel profitability.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience as a Food & Beverage Director in luxury environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be available to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments
  • Active contributor to executive leadership team
  • Strong business judgment and initiative
  • Ability to lead multiple outlets and launch new venues.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience as a Food & Beverage Director in a Five Star or Five Diamond luxury environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • equivalent luxury hospitality leadership experience considered
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong partnerships
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring and developing teams
  • Knowledge of financial management and operational strategies in food and beverage sector
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in luxury hospitality.

Job Duties

  • Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for all Food & Beverage operations including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, culinary operations, and stewarding
  • Partner with the Pre-Opening Team to lead the launch of five new Food & Beverage venues including a signature restaurant, standalone bars, private dining room, and screening room concept
  • Establish and execute overall Food & Beverage strategy aligned with brand standards and business objectives
  • Maintain operational excellence ensuring quality, service, presentation, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
  • Direct financial performance aspects including budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, labor management, cost control, and profit and loss accountability
  • Analyse business performance and guest trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Restaurant, and Beverage leadership to create innovative dining and entertainment programming
  • Champion guest satisfaction through proactive engagement and service recovery initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with VIP clientele, industry partners, and community stakeholders
  • Lead and develop Food & Beverage leaders fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth
  • Evaluate organizational structures and staffing models to align resources with business demands and growth initiatives.
