The Food and Beverage (F&B) Director plays a crucial leadership role at Snow King Mountain Resort, overseeing all aspects of food service operations across the resort's multiple dining outlets. This position reports directly to the General Manager and serves as a key driver in maintaining and elevating the quality, consistency, and creativity of food preparation, handling, and presentation. The F&B Director ensures operational excellence by balancing quality standards with efficient management and financial oversight. This role demands a visionary leader who can manage day-to-day restaurant functions while simultaneously guiding the strategic development of a new mountain top bar and fine-dining restaurant slated to open in 2024.

Job Requirements
- Minimum five years experience as a director in a Food and Beverage Department
- Five or more years of progressive Food and Beverage experience or Culinary Degree with five or more years of progressive experience
- Ability to maintain a positive and accommodating customer-centric attitude
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Proficient in managing food cost budgets and inventory
- Knowledge of relevant food safety laws and regulations
- Ability to work hands-on during peak meal periods
- Skill in staff scheduling and labor cost management
- Capable of conducting on-the-job training and development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Create and plan all meals and menus for restaurants, outlets and catered events
- Oversee daily operations of two grills, a mountain top fine dining restaurant, catering, banquets, snack sales locations and events
- Implement and enforce company food and beverage policies and procedures and comply with state and federal laws
- Manage event food and beverage day-to-day functions, staff management, guest interactions, office administration, vendor communications, and labor costs
- Manage ordering, receiving and inventory for all food and beverage
- Ensure department operates within established budgets
- Manage daily operations of King’s Grill, SK Cafe, Snack Shack, Panorama House and Summit Restaurant including supervision of employees, scheduling, opening and closing procedures
- Manage POS systems, register banks and deposits
- Schedule all employees
- Oversee menu development, trends and inventory growth
- Ensure food presentation and service standards
- Encourage employee performance with sales goals
- Conduct on-the-job training and basic skills training for associates
- Ensure customers have an outstanding dining experience
- Receive deliveries of food and beverage orders timely
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and compliance with safety and health standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
