Rooted in a strong company culture, KHC values professionalism, teamwork, and continuous growth for its employees. The company is dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment that encourages development, innovation, and the highest standards of service.

The Food and Beverage Coordinator role at Kinseth Hotel Corporation represents a vital position within the company. This role is responsible for coordinating food service activities across hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring that quality food and beverage services are delivered efficiently and profitably. The coordinator will either perform duties themselves or oversee subordinate supervisors managing employees in the restaurant, kitchen, bar, and banquet departments. This position requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet organizational goals.

The successful candidate will be involved in many aspects of food and beverage management including menu planning with food preparation teams, estimating and controlling costs, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards, and supervising inventory management. They will play a key role in training employees on cash handling policies, guest service, and operational best practices aligned with company standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining schedules within budget, resolving food quality or service complaints swiftly to ensure guest satisfaction, and coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping departments to address facility needs.

This role also demands keen financial acumen with duties including financial transaction reviews, budget monitoring, and product margin analysis to align offerings with profit targets. The coordinator will actively contribute to developing marketing programs based on competitive analysis and market position to boost the Food and Beverage department's performance. Supervision of up to five subordinate supervisors, who manage up to 150 employees, requires the ability to effectively interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff. The role also carries crisis management responsibilities, from handling emergencies to managing guest incidents professionally.

The position typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, along with strong communication, mathematical, reasoning, and leadership skills. Employees are expected to adhere strictly to KHC's policies and maintain a professional image suited to the hospitality industry. The work environment involves physical activity and occasional exposure to temperature extremes and kitchen equipment hazards, making safety and adherence to protocols essential.

Kinseth Hotel Corporation offers competitive starting wages and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days, a 401(k) plan, paid training and paid time off, and employee discounts at all Kinseth hotels and restaurants.
