As a Food and Beverage Director at Aramark, you will be entrusted with the critical role of shaping and executing comprehensive food service strategies that meet the diverse dining needs and preferences of customers. This managerial position requires overseeing the entire spectrum of dining operations—from the selection and preparation of meals to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining operational excellence. The director is responsible for nurturing a motivated and proficient team through recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management, ensuring that all employees thrive within a supportive, rewarding environment. Your leadership will uphold rigorous safety and sanitation standards to guarantee a clean, safe dining atmosphere.
In this role, you will partner closely with client management and stakeholders to understand, anticipate, and respond to customer demands, fostering strong relationships that enhance service delivery and retention. Financial stewardship is paramount; you will manage budgets, control costs, and drive profit generation while rigorously adhering to budgetary and operational plans. The role demands strategic oversight of food production, inventory management, labor scheduling, and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Moreover, your innovative mindset will seek out opportunities to introduce new service concepts and environmentally conscious solutions that align with both client goals and Aramark’s sustainability commitments.
The Food and Beverage Director plays a proactive role in enhancing operational efficiency by implementing cost-effective measures and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to provide seamless dining experiences. You will be the central figure in coordinating food service production, merchandising, and quality assurance efforts, ensuring exemplary customer service in line with Aramark’s standards. The position may include responsibilities such as participating in sales negotiations and contract discussions, emphasizing the importance of business acumen alongside operational expertise. Physical stamina is also a consideration, as the role can involve standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting items up to 50 pounds.
