Job Description

Round One Entertainment Inc. is a dynamic and engaging company specializing in providing entertainment through various recreational activities, including video games, bowling, karaoke, billiards, darts, and ping pong. It is recognized as a popular family-friendly destination that combines the excitement of an arcade with the social atmosphere of a bowling center, making it a go-to venue for fun and entertainment. The company operates vibrant locations, such as in Salinas, CA, where it employs friendly, outgoing individuals dedicated to creating enjoyable experiences for all guests. The company is committed to maintaining a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional customer service while promoting a fun and inclusive workplace culture.

This particular job opening is for a part-time Food and Beverage team member at Round One Entertainment. The role is essential to supporting the Food and Beverage Department's operations while contributing to the overall customer experience. The position is best suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment and enjoy interacting with people. The role involves working shifts that may extend late into the night (3 pm to up to 3 am) and requires flexibility to work on weekends and holidays. The hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.75, reflecting the importance of customer service excellence and operational competency required in this role.

The responsibilities include operating point-of-sale (POS) registers for food, beverages, and occasionally bowling lanes and arcade equipment. The employee is expected to prepare food and beverage items following company policies, reset and clean food court seating areas, and manage dishwashing and utensil handling duties. Additionally, the role involves managing food and beverage inventory, maintaining refrigeration standards, and overseeing restaurant cleanliness, including restrooms and laundry tasks related to cleaning rags. The position also requires responsiveness and politeness when addressing customer requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The candidate must be at least 21 years old to work on the bar and serve alcohol, complying with all alcohol and age restrictions as per company policies. Non-essential duties include conducting lost and found procedures, striving for work process improvements, and maintaining confidentiality about company operations. The work environment is described as lively and can be noisy, typical of an arcade and bowling center setting, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, climbing, and lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Round One Entertainment offers several appealing benefits for its Food and Beverage team members, including complimentary time each week for non-prize arcade games, bowling, and karaoke or billiards.
