Job Description
FIFA26 is the organizing body responsible for planning and delivering the extraordinary FIFA World Cup 26™, an event that will redefine the landscape of international soccer. Hosted across three North American countries - Canada, Mexico, and the United States - this tournament will be the first in history to feature 48 teams, expanding fan participation and engagement on an unprecedented scale. With a vision to unite the world through this greatest sporting event of all time, FIFA26 aims to create a transformative experience filled with passion, excellence, and community spirit. The organization’s commitment to inclusivity, innovation, leadership, and accountability guides their approach in executing a seamless and memorable World Cup 26 event.
FIFA26 is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Coordinator based in San Francisco on a fixed-term contract. This key role focuses on ensuring the success of the Food & Beverage (F&B) Concessions Program at the event venue. The coordinator will work closely with the Tournament Headquarters and the Food and Beverage Managers to oversee and manage various operational facets of the concessions program. This includes guaranteeing adherence to the operational plan, managing staff allocations, SKU and sales prices, activation schedules, and compliance with alcohol policies and commercial partner agreements.
The Food & Beverage Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining high standards through regular quality controls, coordinating operations on match days, and ensuring excellent communication between stakeholders such as the local concessionaire, commercial partners, and the FIFA central team. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle intensive work and stressful scenarios while upholding FIFA’s high standards of service quality and contractual compliance. Working at FIFA26 also means being part of a team that values innovation and inclusivity, fostering an environment where team members can thrive, contribute novel ideas, and feel motivated to make a tangible impact on a global stage.
Candidates can expect to work onsite in San Francisco under a competitive salary estimated at 28 dollars per hour, in compliance with California's Equal Pay and Opportunity Act. Additionally, FIFA26 offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, along with a 401k retirement plan, reinforcing their commitment to employee well-being and support. This fixed-term role is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about catering operations, particularly within large scale sports events, to engage in one of the world’s most prestigious tournaments. The position promises a dynamic work environment where strategic planning, decision-making, and collaborative execution are critical to success.
