Job Description

FIFA26 is tasked with organizing one of the world's most prestigious and widely viewed sporting events, the FIFA World Cup 26TM. This tournament will be historic, as it is the first time the World Cup will expand to feature 48 teams and be jointly hosted by three countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. FIFA26 is a dedicated organization committed to uniting the world through this extraordinary sporting spectacle and providing an unforgettable experience for fans and players alike. As the scale of this event is unprecedented, FIFA26 focuses on meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to uphold the highest standards of excellence in all aspects of the World Cup, including hospitality and food and beverage services.

At FIFA26, the Food & Beverage Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless concessions program throughout the tournament venues. Reporting directly to the Tournament Headquarters and the Food and Beverage Managers, the Coordinator ensures that all food and beverage services conform to the operational plans and commercial obligations set forth by FIFA and its partners. This encompasses managing staffing, product allocations, pricing, operational hours, adherence to alcohol policies, and activation of sales and fan engagement initiatives. A significant part of the Coordinator's responsibility involves supporting the commercial partners by ensuring brand exposure, exclusive rights, and merchandising guidelines are respected, reinforcing FIFA26's commitment to quality and professionalism.

The role of Food & Beverage Coordinator demands excellent communication skills to facilitate smooth cooperation between local concessionaires, commercial partner teams, and the FIFA central team. On match days, the Coordinator conducts regular operational reviews, including readiness assessments, queue management, stock monitoring, and quality control of service delivery. The position also requires administrative duties and assistance to the Commercial Rights Delivery Team to ensure all FIFA Partnership objectives are met.

FIFA26 encourages candidates who are versatile and passionate about catering operations at major events. The ideal candidate should possess strong planning and analytical skills, a service-oriented approach, and a steadfast commitment to quality, results, and accountability. The environment often involves high stress and intensive workloads, requiring resilience, persistence, and strict adherence to procedures. Proficiency in IT and collaboration tools, a keen eye for detail, and openness to working in diverse teams are essential. Experience in sports event management and food and beverage operations is considered a significant advantage. Fluency in English is mandatory, while knowledge of Spanish and/or French is a plus.

Working for FIFA26 means joining a team that values innovation, leadership, initiative, inclusivity, accountability, and vision as core behavioral competencies. The organization is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, providing equal opportunities for all employees and celebrating a workplace culture that fosters growth and teamwork. The employment for this role is offered under a fixed-term contract, based onsite in Dallas, with competitive compensation compliant with California's Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, starting at 28 dollars per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

FIFA26 also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, alongside retirement savings options through a 401k plan. Joining FIFA26 means becoming part of a global mission aimed at delivering a unique sporting event that brings together nations and fans worldwide with a memorable culinary experience within one of the most significant sporting occasions in history.
